Khola Abid is in her third professional year of PharmD in the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences. The two main elements that govern her life are ‘her contagious passions and limitless curiosities’. She is interested in the history and development of science. Her passion for science is recognizing her as the most notable science communicator in her alma mater. She is currently running a team of young Science communicators as a team leader. Her purpose is to bring science out of the labs and conventional classrooms. She wants to shake the orthodox and pseudo-religious notions of her community about science. She loves to defy the norms and her journey of turning impossibles to possibles is making her unique in the herd of people. She has recently developed a love for philosophy as well.

Science Communicator
She is Bareerah Farooq and she is studying doctor of pharmacy. By profession, she will treat your ailment with the right medicine. She is also fond of painting and sketching. Due to her passion, The Artistry Hub-UVAS provides her a platform to fulfil her craving and she is serving there as an art cell representator. She joined science communication team as a science artist and she is honoured and feel proud to be a part of this amazing job. She has a skill of painting and sketching and before today, art is the source of distress, lust of heart, isolation partner and interpretation of dreams for her. After becoming a part of science communication project, this team specially our leader khola taught her the purpose of her art and gave her a chance to utilize her skill in a best way. Why not she put the foundation of future builders using this skill??? Kids are more attracted by colourful pictures than reading something written in black and white. She will put her art of science in front of children and tell them lika a story. That way, children will start learning science very much.

Soha Maqsood is the future Dietitian to be from University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. Her job is to treat a disease with the help of natural foods instead of medicines. So she is the right person for you if u hate taking medicines. I am a part of the Allied health care team but beside it she is a science communicator as a part of the team THE SCIENCE COMMUNICATORS. Now she is working as part of this team and is loving the amalgam of science, arts and creativity by breaking all barriers of classroom. She loves writing little things happening in life, cooking healthier, creating something new from the old, mixing and matching rustic things with the festive ones to come up with something unique, and so inspire others by her small deeds. In short she believes people have the ability to always make an oasis inside a desert. Â Her goal of life is to become a personality that sparkles around the world the golden rule of her life is what you give to the world comes back to you after all and you will find your contentment in the smiles of others. She is always ambitious to be on pins and needles and work in a harsh environment with new enthusiastic people.

Nabeela Ijaz is a student of Doctor of Pharmacy from Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, UVAS Lahore. Her interests span micro-world, pharmacy for dispensing, and some pharmacological engrossment. She thought nature is a buoyant combination of science, art and math and able to reproduce and elaborate a combination of all threads of universe in a single facet. Meet our team member Rida Khalil , youth of 20 years.She aimed to be an MBBS doctor but Unfortunately could not be,and now is the student of UVAS,LAHORE doing Doctor of pharmacy and in her 3rd year. Apart from having Interest in medical ,nature has inculcated in her the quest for EVERYWHERE SCIENCE. She is a confident youth and love to socalize. Her communication skills have allowed her to participate in science shows. The girl is a passionate and kind natured with a witty mind .She has the love of reading books,writing fictions,and embracing cultural varieties.she is surely going to be a strong team member of ‘The science communicators’.  Besides communication she has been assigned the task of blog writing of every science show of us.

Rabia is in her second professional year of PharmD in the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences. She is a social activist and loves to work for the betterment of society.Currently she is the part of The Science Communicators as a team member. Being a science communicator she wants to pay back to community through her scientific skills and inspire students through the miracles of science. She has passion for science and its enigmas.She is also intrested in book reading.Being a Pharmacist,she wants to serve community at each level.
Thoughtfully Designed
With each project I’m involved in, I see to it that it’s undertaken efficiently — from the initial brainstorming session and first rounds of sketches all the way to the final illustration. With this piece, I knew the client I was collaborating with wanted something that would leave a lasting impression with the audience, and the end result did just that.
An Artistic Eye
This project was one that was very personal to me. Having always dreamed of becoming a professional artist, I wanted this project to portray something that I could barely even put to words, let alone on paper. I’m so happy with the final outcome and am pleased with the way it managed to reflect exactly what I had envisioned.
